In the interceptive orthodontic approach, especially for children, the Occlus-o-Guide and Healthy Start devices have been introduced for many years. The advantages that led to the development of these devices are undoubtedly related to their ease of use for both the practitioner and the patient, their comfort, and their versatility. Properly conducted interceptive therapy, designed to support growth and subsequent development of the arches, can reduce the need for lengthier and more invasive treatments.
The meeting will illustrate the potential uses of these devices, from simple to complex cases, clinical indications, and proper selection and use. Discussion will primarily focus on clinical cases. Participants will also be able to raise concerns about their own cases or seek advice from the speaker.
