The Postgraduate Degree lasts approximately 14 months, for a total of 384 hours divided into 144 hours of theoretical lectures and 240 hours of practice on patients at the Department of Oral Surgery of the University of Havana.

Students will be supervised by Italian and Cuban tutors. At the end of the program, students will take a final exam and defend a thesis. Upon successful completion, they will receive the "University Diploma of Specialization in Oral Surgery and Implant Rehabilitation."
