Dr. Mario Alessio Allegri graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Verona in 1997. He immediately dedicated himself to the study of adhesive techniques in conservative dentistry and the clinical use of next-generation aesthetic materials for the creation of metal-free indirect restorations. He held a scholarship for research on the use of glass fiber-reinforced composite materials in the creation of implant-supported prosthetic structures at the same university from 1998 to 2001. Since 2004, Dr. Mario Alessio Allegri has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC), of which he was a member of the cultural commission from 2007 to 2015 and a member of the board of directors since 2018. He currently serves as President-Elect of the AIC for the 2025-26 two-year term. From 2012 to 2022, he was an active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), where he served on the admissions committee from 2016 to 2018. In 2014, at the Vienna School of Interdisciplinary Dentistry (Dir.: Prof. R. Slavicek), he completed the Viesid Curriculum training program: “Gnathology and Occlusion in Interdisciplinary Dentistry.” From 2015 to 2016, at the same School, he completed the Viesid Continuum training program: “Interdisciplinary Dentistry-Therapy and Treatment Concepts.” Since 2015, he has taught in the Master's Degree in Aesthetic-Adhesive Dentistry at the University of Bologna (Director: Prof. Lorenzo Breschi). Since 2022, he has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP) and an affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). A speaker at national and international conferences and the author of publications on the clinical use of adhesive materials and perio-restorative relationships, he continuously engages in training, teaching theoretical and practical courses in aesthetic-adhesive restorative dentistry, gnathology, and prosthetic planning. He works as a private practitioner in his own dental practice in Verona, focusing specifically on the rehabilitation of complex cases with a multidisciplinary approach.
