
Breschi Lorenzo
Graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Bologna, he obtained his PhD from the same university. He is a full professor at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (DIBINEM) at the University of Bologna, Director of the Department of Prosthetics and of the Master's Program in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry at the University of Bologna. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Adhesive Dentistry, an active member of the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC), a Fellow of the Academy of Dental Materials, and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He is a past president of the following scientific societies: the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC), the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD), the International Academy of Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD), the Dental Materials Group (DMG) of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), and the Academy of Dental Materials (ADM). Speaker at numerous national and international conferences on aspects related to the ultrastructure of enamel and dentin and adhesive dentistry techniques. Author of over 250 publications in international journals with impact factors on aspects related to the adhesion of composite resins to enamel and dentin. He actively collaborates with various international research groups in the development of new methodologies related to bonding techniques in restorative dentistry.
