
Campanella Vincenzo
Born in Rome on April 25, 1959, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1986 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and specialized in Dentistry there in 1989. He is an associate professor of odontostomatological diseases and head of the Integrated Course in Conservative Dentistry at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." He is also head of the Specialist Sector of Conservative Activities at the Tor Vergata University Hospital. He has served as National Secretary of the Italian Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SIOI) from 1994 to the present. He is an active member and member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Conservative Dentistry (SIDOC). He is also an active member of the Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE). He is the scientific director of the local research unit of the interuniversity program: "Biomechanics and Biocompatibility of Endodontics," co-funded by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) for scientific research programs of significant national interest in post-operative adhesive restoration materials. He co-translated the eighth edition of "Pathways of the Pulp" by S. Cohen and R.C. Burns. He is the author of over 100 publications in the fields of pediatric dentistry, conservative dentistry, and endodontics, and on the biocompatibility of materials used in pediatric dentistry, conservative dentistry, and endodontics.
