
Cattazzo Sonia
Cattazzo Sonia graduated as a dental technician in 1986 at the school
Galileo Galilei of Bolzano. He began his work experience at a
laboratory in Rovereto, where she focuses primarily on fixed prosthetics, with a particular focus on metal-ceramics. Since 2001, she has collaborated with the Nonsolodenti laboratory in Trento. It was there that she developed a passion for dental aesthetics, beginning her training by attending numerous practical courses with leading nationally and internationally renowned ceramists, including Willi Geller, Ulrich Werder, Bertrand Thievent, John Won, Giuseppe Zuppardi, Shigeo Kataoka, Marco di Pietro, Naoki Aiba, Gérald Ubassy, Claude Siber, Joachim Maier, and Sasha Hein. Her encounter with dental technician Michel Magne, with whom she shared a working philosophy, proved crucial in her professional growth. In 2010, she was invited by him to do an internship at the laboratory in Los Angeles, CA, returning two years later for a short stint. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious title of Oral Design. Her interest in gnathology led her to attend a training course and a master's degree for dental technicians according to the method of Prof. Rudolf Slavichek at the School of
Interdisciplinary Dentistry in Vienna. Consultant for major dental companies. Since 2018, he has been the new scientific director of the Italian journal "Odontotecnica."
