Professor Pietro Felice graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and subsequently in Medicine and Surgery from the Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna. He subsequently completed his PhD.

in Dermatological and Maxillofacial Reconstructive and Plastic Sciences.

He is currently an Associate Professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna, teaching Oral Surgery and Implantology. At the same university, he is Director of the School of Specialization in Oral Surgery, the Master's Program in Implant and Bone Reconstructive Surgery, and the Oral Surgery Department. He has authored numerous scientific articles in national and international journals, is a member of the editorial boards of international journals, and is a member of the Cochrane Collaboration. He is also a member of the most important Italian and international scientific societies in the field of oral surgery and implantology.
