Giovanni Marzari graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Verona. In 2006, he attended courses taught by Cliff J. Ruddle at Advanced Endodontics in Santa Barbara, California. In 2008, he was a visiting fellow at the postgraduate endodontic programs at TUFTS University and Boston University. Between 2011 and 2014, he attended annual courses in Periodontics and Implantology with Dr. L. Landi.

In 2013 he completed the Master's degree in Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics at the University of Turin, directed by Prof. Elio Berutti.

In 2014 he won the Lucia Mareschi award at the 24th National Congress of the Italian Academy of Endodontics.

Since 2015 he has been an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Endodontics, of which he was a member of the board of directors for the two-year period 2019/2020 and a member of the CAS from 2021 to 2024.

Since 2014 he has been Certified Member of the European Society of Endodontology.

In 2022 he completed the Master's degree in Clinical and Preclinical Research at the University of Parma.

Author of articles and books on endodontics, he is currently a visiting professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Verona and a Clinical Instructor during the Master's program in Clinical and Surgical Microendodontics at the University of Turin. He practices privately in Verona.
