Graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in 1986 with a thesis in Periodontology. From 1984 to 1988, he worked as a tutor in the Prosthetics Department of Prof. M. Pezzoli and Prof. De Michelis at the Molinette Dental Clinic in Turin. From 1999 to 2004, he was the AIO union secretary. He has spoken at various national and international conferences on union and implant-related topics. Since 2001, he has taught the Advanced Dental Surgery Course on Cadavers at the Sophia-Antipolis University of NICE France, the University of Padua, the ICLO Center in Arezzo, and the University of Turin, in collaboration with his ENT colleagues. In 2009, he attended the Forensic Dentistry Course taught by Dr. Fabrizio Montagna. He has been a contract professor at the Master's Program in Osseointegrated Implantology at the University of Padua since 2010.
