Siciliani Giuseppe

Professor Giuseppe Siciliani began his university career in 1978 as an assistant professor and then a researcher at Rome's "La Sapienza." In 1988, he was appointed Associate Professor of Orthodontics at Rome's Tor Vergata University. In 1990, he became a Full Professor at the University of Ferrara. In 1991, he was elected President of the Dental School, a position he held until 2019. In 1993, he was elected Director of the School of Specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara, a position he held until 2019. In 2020, he was named Professor Emeritus of the University of Ferrara. In 2004, he was elected President of the Italian Society of Orthodontics, in 2008 he founded the Italian Academy of Orthodontics, and in 2012 he founded the Italian Society of Aligners. He has published over 200 scientific articles in national and international journals and 4 books, one of which on the lingual technique in 1990, the first in the world on this technique, and the latest in 2018 on the aligners "F22 from research to clinic". In 2022 he received the WFO Award of Merit.
