Dr Philip McCauley is the Clinical Director of Dorset Dental Clinic and an experienced implant dentist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the placement and restoration of dental implants. He has been practicing implant dentistry since 2002 and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).

Philip graduated from Queen’s University Belfast Dental School in 1999. Following a year in general practice, he worked as a Senior House Officer in the Oral Surgery Department at Poole Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery. He obtained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) in 2001.

He has completed a wide range of postgraduate training programmes, including the one-year restorative dentistry course with Michael Wise in 2004. Alongside his clinical work, Philip regularly lectures to fellow clinicians and is widely recognised as a respected opinion leader in implant dentistry.
